The Story:

Psyche was born mortal and a beautiful one at that. She managed to spark the ire of Aphrodite, who then sent her son, Eros, to punish her for it. Eros instead fell in love with her and under the guise of darkness made her his. Psyche fell in love with Eros without even seeing his face.

Though she was happy, Psyche couldn't resist the urge to see what she loved and in doing so, lost the love of her life. However, after facing several dangerous trials meted out to her by Aphrodite, Eros forgave her. They are now married, and Psyche is the Goddess of the Soul.

The Moral? What happens when you fight for what you want? You get to grow up and become a Goddess.

Info and Other Things:

There is very little on the subject of Psyche, with the exception of the story of Eros and Psyche. Nothing about her powers or what not, so I am pretty much on my own in terms of canon.

As far as her powers go, Psyche sees the past. Sometimes just in flashes, sometimes the complete history, it depends on the person. She doesn't like to look without asking but sometimes, it appears to her without warning.

The goal of this power is simply for her to be able to guide the soul to it's next destination. Taking from the past clues as to where she leads.

Having been both mortal and a God, Psyche has an understanding of mortals coupled with the wisdom of immortality. She can go from perky and fun to wise and cryptic in 2.5 seconds.

Don't be fooled by her pretty looks and sweet personality, if confronted she will defend herself. She hasn't had to do it often, but when she does, it's not pretty.

Psyche is from Greek Mythology and open for role play. She looks forward to meeting new friends!
